Not Perfect, But Solid
Unless you are a fan of Mito and his work, do not buy the laser edition of the ALT High-Profile; the regular ALT, however, is a very good hot-swap keyboard. Low-profile, or high-profile, the ALT is one of the many solid choices for mid-range hot-swap boards. I would, again, not recommend the laser edition unless you want to collect pieces that fit with GMK/SA laser sets.

FyrntyCould you expand on your review? I’m a newbie in this area and wanted to be sure before I dropped over $300 on this set. Are the mito components proprietary?

DabeMito is the username of the designer who made the keycaps that are an optional bundle with this keyboard. The keycaps are not proprietary per say, but they’re not sold frequently because keycap sets in the enthusiast scene is run in limited-time buy periods called “group buys”. While you can buy this as a beginner, I recommend the regular ALT, or I recommend the GMMK.
