Why do Keycap makers keep making the F & J keys without the bump? It's a User Experience must and many keycap producers ignore this simple requirement.
While I was originally skeptical, after using a set of MT3s on my daily driver for a while I can say that the deeper contour on the F & J keys is definitely noticeable. I can confidently find my home row without looking, and now switching back to keycaps with tactile bumps feels almost obtrusive. All I'm saying is, don't knock it till ya try it, I think they did a real nice job of designing these homing keys.
Actually, I have the Olivetti MT3 set and the F and J has a deeper depression than the rest of the keys on that same row, and I think this is intentional. So rather than the normal bump on those keys, they made it slightly differently in terms of how your index fingers fit on top of the keycap, which I really like.
On spherical keycaps you're able to have deep scoops for homing and it actually works. I find it better than homing bars; but personally I think homing dots to be the best.
I prefer bumps to deep dish as well, but we seem to be in the minority in that preference. Anyway, it's not as if they don't make any homing keys at all. The homing keys are still there and they still work, they just use a different system than the bumps that you (and I) prefer.
What is the specific color code for this shade of Yellow used for the HiCent/Spacebar/Nov kits.
And for those that actually own it in-hand; is it closer to the warm-ish, saturated Yellow as shown in the renders (almost looks like the Yellow used in the Serika set)? Or is it more fluorescent, closer to the slightly pale, "Hi-Liter" Yellow that's used in the CDPR Cyberpunk branding?
I really want it to be a warmer & more versatile yellow/gold-shade like in the digital kitting examples, but from a lot of the pics I've seen it appears much less saturated, and much more "neon"-looking, and that worries me. Unfortunatepy, it seems the Iron Fist of Zambumon is sticking to his guns of not running another MT3 Serika, and Drop seems just as uninterested in restocking the /dev/tty Unicorn accents, so these are the only other option...
I wanted to use either the Hi-Cent mods & Susu Spacebars with my MT3 White-on-Black, but color accuracy & real-life appearance could make-or-break the whole colorway I'm going for, so I'd HUGELY appreciate a clear answer on this! Thanks.
I'd say it's a neutral but saturated yellow. More warm than Cyberpunk's branding but less than the accent yellow on this site. I took some pics of the set next to some Gateron Yellows and a Banana Split;

It's basically impossible to capture accurate color on a phone and then processed by a CDN compression script, but if you have any Gat Yellows or Banana Splits you can use this for comparison.
