Awesome look and feel.

I purchased this set based on looks-alone and the actual product does not disappoint. The legends are extremely crisp, the color is spot on with the renders, and the actual keys are very well made. The MT3 profile is very nice to type on; it's tall, but the deep concave shape makes it very easy to find the center of the keys.

ABS MT3 is G8T

I own both MT3 Serika and /dev/tty which obviously shows how much I like this profile; however, I was skepticism regarding ABS mold. Q looks really bad in this mold and surely they ain't going to change this anytime soon. Although ABS will shine faster than PBT counter part, it is way more colorful and a double-shot technique lifts the crispiness into another level. That is how I decided to buy this set.

And I 'm not disappointed. The texture is way smoother than PBT, but MT3 is MT3. It will hold your finger in the cup well. If I have to be really a grumpy review, the novelty set is lacking -- well, we always want to have alternative enter or backspace. That's about it. This colorway might not satisfy everyone, but if you dig this theme, then this set might be on your keyboard longer than you thought it would be.

First set of nice keycaps, like em. Cons: base kit needs numpad, thin spacebar, fast shine

Picked up the base kit for $40 on Cyber Monday 2022 and added the novelties for $19 so I could hit the $50 threshold and use the $10 off coupon for new customers. MT3 profile was love at first sight for me and this was the cheapest way to get my foot in the door at the time I was looking. Felt kinda indifferent towards the color purple before this keycap set but the color has grown on me a lot after a few months. I'm pretty new to custom keyboards and this was my first set of nice keycaps and they don't disappoint. Text is clean and crisp with no kerning issues. Lots of colors in this one set but they all come together cohesively. MT3 profile looks and feels great even though I think I type a bit slower with them. Typing feels more like an intentional experience with them, if that makes sense. MT3 homing deep dish vs bar: The deeper F and J are quite noticeable, but it isn't immediately obvious like homing bars are. You kinda have to "think" about whether your index fingers are in the right spot or not. Sure, it only takes a split second, but homing bars require literally zero cognitive load for me. YMMV, it's a very minor quibble for me. Gaming: I play a decent amount of FPS games and MT3 works completely fine for that use case, despite their high profile. Get a wrist rest for sure though. Onto the cons: 1) Drop needs to standardize all MT3 kits to include numpad by default (some do and some don't). Just feels like unnecessary nickel and diming to have it be an add-on when the MSRP for the base kit is $120. I don't even use the numpad, but this rubbed me the wrong way. 2) MT3 space bar was significantly thinner than my Keychron Q1 OEM's. I adhered some spare gaskets to the inside bottom to improve the sound. 3) ABS Shine: maybe it's just because I'm new to using high-end ABS keycaps, but these keycaps developed shine faster than I expected. It's most noticeable on the W and spacebar, which are most used for gaming. I honestly kinda think shine is cool, wabi-sabi like the patina on a carbon steel knife or well-worn leather work boots. But it just happened faster than expected; I've only had the keycaps for ~6 weeks. Specific thoughts on the novelty kit: 1) Favorite thing about it that I didn't expect was the R2 up arrow. It makes resting your fingers on the arrow keys as comfortable as WASD. Looks fine on exploded 75%, might be weird on other layouts. 2) Would love to see an F key included in the novelties, solely for the fact that I could have bright yellow deep dish F and J keys. 3) If base kit is not going to include a yellow R0 Delete key, I wish it would've been included in novelties at least. Seems to me many 75% keyboards have a spot up there for it. 4) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ key is goated Conclusion: well worth it at the Cyber Monday price of $40. If considering purchasing for a higher price, I would only do so if you're going into it already loving the color. Or wait for MT3 BOGO.

My first set of custom keycaps and in MT3 profile. I really like SA profile keycaps so this is very similar but more rounded and shorter. It takes a bit getting used to but it feels sturdy typing on it. Sounds great as well. Love the colors!

I tried purchasing MT3 caps from Drop a little over a year ago when i ordered the /dev/tty set. They arrived, looked fantastic... and then were unusable because the spacebar and some of the other longer keys were warped. I shipped them back, got another set and... had the same problem! Finally I shipped the second MT3 set back and ordered something from Kono instead. 2022 and I see there is a MT3 BOGO sale and decide to try it again... third time was the charm. Cyber caps look awesome and this time I had no issues with warping or fit. They look great, feel great and I got them within DAYS of ordering which just feels weird in this hobby. $60 for a great set of caps that got here days after I ordered them. Super happy with this purchase.

MT3 are just the best. I've bought a couple of mt3 sets and don't want to use any other anymore. Cyber looks great, especially with a few yellow accent keys. The quality of mt3s has never disappointed, always very well manufactured.

This is my first set of MT3 keycaps and I have to say, I really love them. I expected them to be smooth and shiny like SA, but instead the more matte textured finish feels really nice to type on. The colors here are great too, I like the contrasting yellow. I actually ended up ordering both the ortho set for my daily driver and later the standard set to use when gaming. Very nice!
