Must I say, this is truly a beautiful set. I have been wanting a Godspeed set for so long! Fast shipping and all of the legends are clear and clean. No problems with them as far as I can see. My one gripe about these is that they have some pretty solid backlight shine. I have another MT3 set made by MITO and they are very very similar in colors when you look at the alphas. My other set has no shine through at all as compared to this set, you can really see it. I'm still giving this set 5 stars because I wont be using backlight. However if I was I would be slightly disappointed. Just wanted to put this out there for the people who this might be a deal breaker for. I'll post two pictures with the space bar replaced and the letter "P" replaced with the other set for comparison.
Legends are crisp and no warping on edges. Almost as good as double shot legends but you get the nice benefits of PBT. Keycaps are not warped and came nicely packaged. Some of the keys came in bags and each key was individually bagged which was a little much but I appreciate the level of care in the packaging.
Final colours are are great and closely match the renders. Would have been nice to get confirmation of colours before the drop ended but at least we can trust @MiTo on that.
Great profile, don't forget you can mix and match sets and colorways!
I don't love the godspeed colorway, but that's all personal preference. I did however purchase this for just the alphas which I combined with darker mods from susuwatari and I couldn't be happier.
Yep, it's the Laser ALT which was a one time production (I think), so the only way you'd be able to purchase it is second-hand. They did have the high-profile Laser ALT recently though.
Drop asked me to leave a review. Well, here it is.
First off, the profile is taking a bit of getting used to, bud I do like it a lot. The PBT feels rough and I am loving the color scheme. It came out as expected of the renders.
The legends, oh boy... MT3 /dev/tty round 1 had problems with legends being blurry and out of place. I have to say the legends are very crisp, but as for being centered and straight... it's a disaster.

Several Colevrak kits are missing a deep dish T. About 10% of the legends are off center or tilted even if you aren't looking for it. When you do start looking for it, the situation is much worse. I'd say about half of my Colevrak kit has issues. The other kits ALL have one faulty key at least.
This is something I would expect buying a cheap set from AliExpres or KBDfans. But we are paying a premium for these kits and the result should be a premium product.
Quality control is deeply incompetent here. As are the factory workers who ran entire batches with obvious faults.
I honestly don't believe Drop will have enough extras to make this right. Any discount won't be enough really. I just want the keys I paid for.
After this and the terrible Holy Panda lube I am very hesitant to join another drop. I am currently in on GMK Pulse. I trust the GMK reputation, so I hope that one will be good, but I'll think thrice before joining another MT3 drop, even though I enjoy the profile a lot.
Edit: I am in touch with customer support and I have to say they are doing their best to come to a good solution. I am getting replacement keys and I hope these live up to expectations. I will amend my review if that is the case.
I do believe drop is realizing that it's both more profitable and customer friendly to deliver quality upfront than having to solve it after delivery. I suspect both manufactiring and QC was outsourced to people who do not quite understand the quality which is expected .
Update:
Drop shipped replacement kits, but with a cheaper option, so the tracking number stopped updating after two days. "Handed over to postal service" or something like that. This has been over 8 weeks of waiting again.
I contacted Drop again. The told me to contact UPS. UPS told me to contact Drop. Drop now said Colevrak kits are no longer available and I am SOL. They offered me a refund instead. I took a refund on the ortho and Colevrak kit. Looks like I will have to go back to QWERTY, learn Dvorak or stick with faulty legends.
I'm not sure what I'll do. It's a shame. I was so excited for this drop and it turned out to be a non starter. Even though I love the MT3 profile and Godspeed, I doubt I'll ever gamble on this again.
This set is so great, the original iteration of Godspeed is part of what drew me into the Mechanical Keyboard community! The colors and dye-sub on these keys really look great. This is my first set of PBT material & MT3 profile as well, and I have taken to the feel of it quite quickly, it really just cups your fingers so nicely.
Modeled on a Lake Rama M60-A:
When I opened the package I noticed there are few defects immediately, even before i remove the plastic container.
*The R4 "Y" symbol of my RAMS Set has a wrong profile/height (Am I the only lucky one who get this special version?)
**The " .x " of my MICONS Set has a shiny coating on the top surface, a weird rough texture, and glossy finishing on all 4 side walls while the rest of the keycaps set are matte finishing.
***There is a huge ink drop on my F9 keycap.
This QC is absolutely not acceptable for a $120+ keycaps set, not to mention the 6months waiting time.
I've contacted customer support, hopefully they are going to replace those defected keycaps for me.
p.s. well, just to be fair, other than the defects, this is probably the best quality dye-sublimated keycap set I've ever seen.
NINJERI thought mine was missing at first; it was strangely placed in the box and took me about 30 minutes to notice. Not saying that's what happened here.
the keycaps were mostly well made except for the space bar which was warped preventing the space bar from returning. This is not a big deal as it was easy to fix with a hair dryer but is still a problem that I should not have had to deal with
