If you like the high profile retro aesthetic, this one's for you.
Colors are vibrant, sound is deep, caps came shiny but it works for high profile caps like these.
Some of the keycaps don't look entirely smooth (mainly the mods or any keys larger than 1u) but they feel that way for sure.
It's quite niche and you'd need to get use to the height, but if this works for you, it works for you.
Also it's more purple than blue, might wanna take note of this when color matching or blending with your boards.
I waited a while to get these so the delay on pre-order was annoying but not too big of a deal (ordered Feb/2021 received June/2022). The package was not only soiled (not necessarily drops fault) but I received keys shoved in a small zip lock bag. The keys had scratches on them like they were used and removed with a keycap remover. Printing is absolutely terrible. They look and feel so cheap. Will probably never order a group buy from drop again.
I ordered SA Laser Cyberdeck R3. The caps took well over a year to arrive, which doesn't seem that crazy in the context of other group buys, but seeing them pushed back multiple times was less than I'd hoped given that it wasn't ordered from a smaller shop. The most disappointing part was the inconsistent finish and the fact that they arrived loose in a plastic bag (not even shipped in cardboard trays like the competition).
On the plus side, they feel and sound great, and came with just enough novelties to fill out what I needed on my board. The fact that the set I ordered was a uniform profile allows for even more flexibility for the novelties and other keys based on your preferred layout, like the right hand column on a 65%. The height of the all R3 keycap set is good, no discomfort and they don't feel too tall having come from using mostly Cherry profile.
Good:
Looks even better in person. SA gives a sexy thocc-y sound that I enjoy. A few mitowave keys are included as part of the Cyberdeck 2 set for free.
Bad:
Quality control leaves a bit to be desired for a set this expensive. Packaging is terrible for price point, especially when you're wanting the most safety to preserve quality of the keycaps. The colorway and texture are susceptible to showing all imperfections, so the packaging is extra disappointing. The wait time for group buys are crazy (1.5yrs+) so it amplifies any little imperfection.
With that said, I enjoy this set and will keep it on this board permanently
Score 4/5
SA Laser is definitely a beautiful color way and design, no doubt about it. It looks great in pictures and if paired with the right board, it can really shine. I love the aesthetic and design.
That said, IMO, the colors are still just a bit disappointing especially in dimly lit conditions, particularly the special keys with yellow, purple and orange text such as in the Obnet and Turbo kits. The pink accent keys are also disappointing as the pink color is not very "solid/opaque" and comes off as slightly transparent. You really need a bright environment to make those colors look good in the flesh and I spend a lot of time in a dark room while using my keyboards. Also worth noting that there is no UV reactivity in the plastics of this set so it does not pop with black or blue light. This is easily comparable to GMK laser which has the same problem, though I think SA Laser has slightly larger icons and legends on some keys that make it more tolerable (especially the turbo kit, which IMO looks way better on SA).

Laser is just one of those sets that will always be in my collection because the design is so good, but I will always feel like it just could've been slightly better in realization. When I compare it to my SA Symbiosis set it's just not even close to the color depth in my opinion and I really wish it could've been better.
