Grab a leather jacket, put on a pair of sunglasses, and warm up your engines. MiTo’s latest undertaking is a revamp of the cyberpunk- and outrun-themed Laser custom keycap set—now sculpted in tall SA profile for a brand-new look and feel. Designed in collaboration with the creator of XDA Godspeed, XDA Canvas, and DSA Legacy, SA Laser is dripping with futuristic colors and cultural references from cyberpunk’s past. Look for allusions to William Gibson’s Neuromancer, Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, and even Stranger Things. The alphas, done in violet, pair gracefully with the midnight purple modifiers. Brought to life by hot pink and teal legends, the set looks like it was shot straight from the barrel of a laser gun.
Note: To avoid confusion with the current checkout system, we will be changing the drop points manually. We are paying attention to the number of child kits bought as well. If they reach certain quantities, we will adjust their prices accordingly. You may notice fluctuations in your checkout price as we make these adjustments on the back end, but you will not be charged more for anything. In terms of color, SA Laser has everything you loved about GMK Laser. However, this time, the profile is dramatically different. Made by Signature Plastics, the caps are sculpted in tall SA profile for a prominent curve from front to back. They’re made of durable doubleshot ABS plastic for a vivid look and a long-lasting construction. In keeping with the style of other Signature Plastics sets, the legends are large and centered. There are also some new novelties to give your keyboard a high-speed look. See below for more details.
For the alphas, you’ll have three variations to choose from: Alphas (Latin characters), Kobe (Hiragana characters), and Gaijin (hybrid characters).
The modifiers come in multiple variations. There are the Classic legends, the Micons variation, and the Obnet variation, which is enough to cover most popular layouts. If you have a Leopold or Race keyboard, you’ll need the Exotic kit as well.
The Cyberdeck kit is a tribute to Laser GMK: a remix consisting of the Cherry legends style and the spherical (SA) flat profile. The kit comes in the classic Cockpit/Mitolet (22333) configuration, and it comes with extra keycaps to cover the majority of the custom layouts.
The Ortho kits are designed to provide proper coverage for ortholinear keyboards like the Planck and Preonic. The 40s kit is available for 40% keyboards like the Vortex Core and other custom layouts.
The Ergo kits come in two different options: one with blanks and one with legends.
These kits provide proper layout coverage for the United Kingdom and several Nordic countries. If you have a Colemak or Dvorak keyboard, you’ll need the Colevrak kit; if you have a Leopold, you’ll also need the Vortex Race or the Exotic kit for full coverage.
This kit contains all of the novelties from the GMK Laser project, plus an all-new Turbo kit inspired by the 1988 Corvette’s speedometer. Also available are the Accent, Monolegends, and Arrows kits for added flair.
