For $899 I want a dedicated XLR cable, not an adaptor.

JodetHi Jodet- the cable is dedicated XLR. The adaptor is to single-ended (both 3.5mm and 1/4").

CEE_TEEVery nice. :)
I'm using a Violectric amp and the XLR input on it is excellent.

JodetJust so you know, SE -> Balanced adapter is not possible. Balanced -> SE is.

JvalYou have that backwards. A 'SE output -to- Balanced headphone' adapter is possible. A 'Balanced output -to- SE headphone' adapter is not.

mattrisYou can go Balanced to Single-ended as balanced maintains separate grounds for right and left channels. The adapter that is included combines the grounds, is single-ended, and provides two different plug types. (Once the grounds for L & R are combined, you cannot split them back up.)

JvalAm I an idiot, or are you just not understanding? They give you a cable with XLR terminations, and put a single ended adapter in the box as well? Am I missing something? They are giving you what you have asked for, and you are saying they haven't... Not sure what gives man.

musgratYou must be missing something since i wasn't talking about that at all. I was telling the guy who didn't understand what was included that what he originally thought was included is impossible
