In for one. This will be shipped at around the same time when I get my THX AAA 789 amp which is ideal, timing wise. Now my only hesitation is: the pads. My ears aren't square or rectangular last time I checked. I'm afraid it will have a negative either on the sound or in the long-session comfort.

rdodevI suppose YMMV, but the square shape was tall enough and wide enough to fit my not-small ears just fine on the Ether and Ether C.

rdodevThey wouldn't make pads that won't fit most ears... I am wearing my Ether Cs right now, and the rectangle is plenty big.

fcc323Interesting. So these things are much bigger than they lead to believe.

fcc323Would you mind measuring the width of the rectangle on your Ether Cs? I am having issues with a pair of M40x putting pressure on my ear and being uncomfortable for long sessions.
Thanks!

0xD3C0D3@MrSpeakers when you have some free time, would you mind providing measurements of the square “ear hole” in the pads? Thanks in advance.

rdodevI'm sure Dan will chime in but here's the dimensions straight from the MrSpeakers website. https://www.mrspeakers.com/ether-c-angled-ear-pads.html (Specs) Earhole: 2.5" tall x 1.7" wide, 1.3" depth I have smaller ears so this is more than enough.

devolutionaryMeasuring my M40X, looks like we're about the same width, but another .5" tall and significantly deeper. This might be exactly what I was looking for as the pressure is on the outside upper part of my ear (partially depth and partially height, my ear width fits in the hole otherwise)
I was having a hard time finding the info on the website, thanks for pointing me at it!

0xD3C0D3Amazing what a half an inch will do for pad comfort!
