I'm seriously trying t find out what the difference is between these, the Ether C and the Ether C flow. I haven't even been able to find two sites that have the same opinion on what the differences are between the C and the C flow, and absolutely nothing on this massdrop offering. If someone could please give me a quick explanation on the differences I would greatly appreciate it.

ethanchanI find sound on C flow more disjointed than C... back then I couldn't see they worth the money but now $900 with few upgrades from Dan, think this drop is quite reasonable.

FatDoi@FatDoi Thanks for reply, it is much appreciated. I guess I should have been a bit more specific with that question. I was wondering what the differences are not just with sound but component changes and/or upgrades. Thanks again for the reply.

ethanchan Versus original Ether C... Headband is now the Aeon version (I have Aeon and they are very comfortable). Dampening changed. Different earpad.
that is what I gather from reading through the discussions and drop page.
ethanchanThe Flow feature allows air to pass through the magnetic coil and mounting structures in larger quantity and in a more streamlined, uniform way, better approximating the airiness of an electrostat. In principle, it is apparently similar to Audeze's 'fazor' feature that their new higher end models utilize.
Tyl did a great writeup on the feature here https://www.innerfidelity.com/content/etherial-mr-speakers-ether-flow
