Hi Everyone!
We're excited to release two new colorways using the brand new MT3 tooling designed for the Matt3o Susuwatari Keycap Set. This manufacturing process took almost two years to perfect and the community response has been immense!
This initial on-sale is for 500 units of Black on White, and 500 White on Black MT3 Base Kits. All of these kits are at our warehouse, with immediate shipping. That's right, not a 6 month, or 9 month, or 24 month wait. Buy it today, get it in a few days.
We have more Base kits being produced and in transit, so if you miss out on the initial 500 units you'll be able to get one in a reasonably short time. We're also finishing up production of Ortho kits. Additional kits are not currently slotted for production but we'll consider adding them in the future if production slot availability and demand warrant.
10/26 Update: A second shipment of the BoW and WoB keycaps is expected to arrive this week, so orders 501+ will be shipping in a few days.
Pending QC checks and color matching, MT3 Jukebox and MT3 Camilo are planned to go on sale before the end of the year as well.

This is ridiculous. I own Matt3o Dev/tty PBT MT3 in TKL at $105 from Amazon. If you think I'm GNA spend $110 on ABS, you must be out of your mind!

I think people are just brainwashed to assume that because GMK abs has good color matching and perfect legends that it is acceptable for the keys to look lkke they developed an STD after only a few months of daily use. I don’t care about quality, I can wash my hands constantly before and during typing, but abs is a ticking time bomb before it looks so shiny it’s embarassing. I’ve never worried about having clean hands and my PBT set I’ve used for years and tons of mileage looks new still. So you can argue certain ABS is superior to PBT and maybe correct if you’re someone who loses sleep over a spacebar thst has half a degree of curve to it because you insoect each key with a microscope. But I’ve yet to find ABS that can stand the test of time. Thus I see abs as pissing money down the drain as do most. When the colors can be done easily in PBT it just makes me think whoever decided on ABS for a set likely should be bagging my groceries and not ruining keycap sets

It won’t last you a while. Unless you aren’t embarrassed to have keys that look like someone just ate cheeseburgers and French fries and rubbed it into your keys. Especially if you’re a gamer.... having WASD looking like they got mutated covid and are leaking puss

I would imagine his reason is that ABS loses its texture, if it has any to begin with. And quickly absorbs oils from your filangies making them shine and look disgusting. They basically have a life of about a few months. And I’d you game your WASD will shine quick and look nasty and then no one will purchase in aftermarket.

Having owned ABS and PBT Razer keycaps, I can tell you they both wear out quickly and shine. I've owned Matt3o Dev/tty PBT MT3 for about a month now. So far it's held up better than Razer's offering.

are abs MT3s rough textured like the PBT? If so do they do the texture like GMK that lasts a month and the shines like an old man’s shaved head? If so then hard pass. Abs is such a waste of money

LulunaAs long as it’s ABS I’ve decided to never get ABS again. I bought a GMK set and I never use it because I’ve seen GMK with shine and I find it disgusting. So I stick to PBT. Anyways the black in white artifact caps they’re selling will do just fine. They don’t cup your filangies like MT3 but hey I also got in on dev/tty. However we will be lucky if that actually ships before 2021

I’ve used the same PBT set on my home computer for about three years now and it looks brand new. I put GMK on my work computer and it lasted me like four months before I was embarsssed to have it on my desk it was so Greesey. So it PBT shines eventually .... I’m still waiting after 3 years on my home PC and my supposedly premium “it’s worth it to spend 300$ on GMK cause it’s so godly” lasted me about four months. I was also aware of problems with ABS and kept hand sanitizer at my desk which I used essentially religiously tryjng to preserve the GMK set I really liked. So yeah. I don’t mind spending 400$+ on a set or a keycaps, but I would rather deal with warped legends and keys than shine. I expect them to last. You guys sound like your entire life revolves around worshiping plastic and thus you have so many keysets you’ve likely never typed on the same set of abs for more than two weeks before you’re throwing on new keycaps. That’s cool though I just prefer to get something j like and leave it because I find having a life and hobbies other than keyboards more rewarding. Although the fact that you say PBT shines likely shows youre repeating skmethjng somekne else said or else you think it’s a fair argument to compare shine in 3 months to shine after 5 years. But yeah I’m an idiot and don’t know anything sorry to have ever tried to use a set of keycaps longer than a month. I’ll leave you guys to consuming so much plastic you have a carbon footprint the size of your ego while you likely virtue signal about your Tesla you can’t afford bexause you needed those 500$ GMK olivias to match your boyfriends panties
