Im new to the keyboard scene so can anybody explain what the Ortho Kit is for ?
Ortholinear refers to keyboards that are not staggered I.E. where the keys are arranged in rows and columns. This means if you put standard size mods, where keys like shift and tab aren't a whole letter key wide, it won't fit, so you need different modifier keys.

Are these compatible with a regular 60% keyboard? Like the gk61?
There are pictures of the base kit on a regular 60% The Carina is a standard 60 and it is part of the image carousel

Is there a way to purchase this as an already-installed functional keyboard, rather than just keycaps? If not, do you have an easy purchase list of parts for a build-your-own? Thanks.
You can buy a prebuilt board. And just replace the caps. Make sure the board is using MX switches and the keycap set supports the boards layout

Does this one fit vortex race 3 ?
The ESC key on the Race will cause issues. Everything else is fine

Newb here, Is there a reason these are made in ABS and not PBT?

It's difficult to do a reverse dye-sub to get white legends on the blue keys. And you'd need to do dye-sub, since it's even tougher to do doubleshot PBT on such sculpted keys as MT3 has. Also, the blue keys wouldn't be as vivid in PBT as they are in ABS. Finally, I assume that they could spare the bandwidth in their ABS production line. This is basically a recolor of Susuwatari, with more limited kitting, and didn't require any additional tweaks to run besides switching up the pigments.
