This is one of those Drop MT3 keysets in which you get really a lot for your money with the basic kit. The blue colors are really beautiful, the only challenge is finding the right keyboard where they can properly shine.
This kit is everything I ever wanted. I had to hide the $120 charge from my wife because she’ll never understand how perfectly executed this design is. An a
I have these on an Iris. The profile combined with the split helped alleviate shoulder and wrist tension for me. After several years of use, they have some shine (naturally, can't avoid), but they are still thocking away. Favorite color scheme.
This set is really versatile to mix and match with several other sets from drop. Of course this makes a perfect match with the Dancer set if you want to go with a monotone setup. Either blue really pops. I mixed this set with the Camillo set and both the white alphas of that set with the light blue and the dark blue of this set with the grey of the Camillo make great combinations. As always, the quality is top notch as well.
Nice thick ABS MT3. Colors are striking, but not obnoxiously loud. Alphas pair great with Camillo mods, and mods pair great with Camillo alphas for a couple different looks.
The color scheme is fantastic especially if you have that silver grey Q1 Pro board. The blues are a solid blue and I had my doubts about the ...teal?...modifier colors but once all the keys were set on the board it looked great. The first time I had tried the MT3 profile I wasn't using a wrist rest....but now with a wrist rest the profile is definitely growing on me when all you do is type.
