New to KBs. One wonders how it must look better in the dark. Why no 'lit-up' pics? It appears to have LEDs. Guess I'm missing something obvious, sorry.

Look at that! Nice to see such great support for lots of layouts in the base kit! So much plastic for not a lot of money! (doh! :) ) Looking at the price of this I can't help but ask, what changed between MiTo MT3 Cyber Custom set and this one that justifies the price difference?

MiToEverything that has been done with some of the dye-sub variants so far. Your MT3 Godspeed is a shining example of how to do it right. I understand ABS molds cost more, but if we could go back in time:

R5 bottom row
Novelties which are unique and convey the theme of the set
Support for alternative layouts (Colevrak and Norde)
Alternate alpha's would be fun

And I have to say, I respect Matt3o, but the font and mods for Susuwatari should never have become the blueprint for all following ABS sets. Both MT3 Godspeed and MT3 Serika would have made for a better default. I understand the MT3 ABS has been a long, painful and costly road and I can only guess there's some sort of deal here in which a number of ABS sets have to be produced before new molds are created, if ever, but the current offerings are falling short and I think current sales numbers are reflecting that. Additionally I think it was a mistake to have made a gritty texture for ABS keys. As we have seen with GMK, shine develops quickly and it would have been better to have made the keys smooth from the start, similar to SA, so surface consistency is uniform and lasts.

I want to like this set so badly (love me a clean shiny Fairlane drop-top). You could have had some really cool retro car-themed novelties (and a mirror-finish "chrome" artisan) with this set. All you would've had to do is, I don't know, *looked at* a Fairlane, or even a Cougar, or basically any car from around 1963, but no. There's nothing unique about this set. Disappointed.
