phinixI just put a MT3 3277 6u spacebar on my HHKB, and it worked great. The most important part is that you have the new round of MX sliders if you use Deskey (the first round broke the stems)
No R5 flat bottom row, seems this is yet another MT3 set I'm passing on.
We all know new molds are a non-trivial investment, but I fail to see why DROP won't spend the same effort it would on a novelty set to make a Ortho/Ergo set that isn't deaf to customer needs. The longer the community boycotts the sets or settles for flipping the bottom row (which doesn't work since they're text mods), the more I'm sure "the numbers show nobody buys ortho kits" - it's baffling why DROP continues to not support its own keyboards (Preonic, Planck) and meet the needs of its customers. It's physically painful to use R4 bottom row as your thumb hits the sharp bottom edge of the cap and the angled surface means there is very little top surface area but a whole lot of edge.
No R5 bottom row for Ortho, no buy.
MiroboruThat's correct. They do not have doubleshot molds for R5; it's only available on dyesub sets and I've been told getting/making doubleshot molds is tens of thousands of dollars.
ziligHey, for some reason the last email went missing, but these are the warehouse now and are preparing for shipment. I'll get another email sent out here shortly.
