Hey Everyone, Seeing discussion on file encoding (codecs) and thought I would share some development decisions behind the ones used. SBC is on everyone’s devices and is designed to be efficient: less energy, lower latency. Phone operating systems may want to prioritize battery life or some apps/phones may lag when watching video. Try SBC if you have any of these issues to see if SBC helps. SBC may also be preferred to a higher data rate codec if that other codec has to be converted into a native phone codec. The AAC implementation on a device can cause some variance in performance but we’ve found it solid on the Android devices we’ve tested. We haven’t seen any true wireless IEMs use AptX HD or LDAC yet, presumably because of battery life or other trade-offs. Thank you for the discussion and interest!

CEE_TEEI don't care about the codec since the DAC/amp is more important for wireless buds. I do have questions though. First question is when the buds are on and nothing is playing is there any hiss/static/white noise? Even the tiniest bit of noise would be bad and indicate low quality amps. Try testing in a completely silent room. Since there is no ANC there should be no noise whatsoever. Second question is what exactly the physical controls are and are they customizable? From what I can see in the images the whole plate appears to be a button, so two buds would mean two buttons, which would not have many controls without either multiple clicks or delayed/held clicks. If I just wanted two controls that I use often, would I be able to map play/pause to 1 click on one bud and skip track to 1 click on the other?

bubblyHi bubbly, Thank you for the question about audible electronic noise generated by the chipset itself or a bit of white noise floor present.  I’m really happy with the background and noise floor of the Move- I don’t hear electronic gremlins connecting over Bluetooth or any low level hiss that can sometimes be present in true wireless. For the second question, I'll try to post a table of functions and controls. Yes we have play/pause, skip track/back, and volume up/down. But not customizable by user.

CEE_TEE"We haven’t seen any true wireless IEMs use AptX HD or LDAC yet, presumably because of battery life or other trade-offs." "There are only few aptX LL True Wireless earphones on the market (2 or 3 models if I am not mistaken). One is our BE Free8." Uh oh...and the Creative Air is coming out with aptX too May 20. Not saying that the design process was flawed, but if the community democratically says that aptX is a 'must-have' key feature, it would've been better to approach us during the design process, or even adding aptX support to these

CEE_TEEFor my use case that's actually fairly good given there's only two physical buttons. Some people here might be annoyed with triple tap for assistant though. Thanks @CEE_TEE!
