Hey guys, so I have an o2 drop amp, RCA to 3.5mm going from the amp to my Grace sdac. USB from sdac to computer, windows says its playing audio through it but nothing is coming through my headphones, which work fine without the setup. My Sennheiser 6xx will not play any audio whatsoever plugged into the front of my amp. Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated because there is zero support or instructions on what to do if it isn't working. Is it the RCA to 3.5mm? Should I do RCA to RCA? Could that maybe be the problem? I really don't want the answer to be my brand new amp is broken.

LeovitssI doubt the issue is with RCA to 3.5mm cable unless something is seriously defective. I don't see how a RCA to RCA cable would change things unless something massive like the 3.5mm port/jack isn't even wired up. (it kind of sounded like you did this but hard to tell for sure) One thought I have that I think someone new might make is you need to select the dac (playback device) you want to be outputting in windows. Otherwise it will continue outputting the old way. To change this, I left click on the speaker symbol in the lower right corner, click above the volume bar with all the text describing the "playback device", and select the new dac. Since you have the RCA to 3.5mm cable, you can test the amp without the dac. The 3.5mm end goes into the headphones out/lineout or R/L out (they all do the same for the most part in this situation) on your computer case/motherboard/laptop. Keep the headphones off your ears and play with the volume and gain settings to see if things change. Hope some of that helps.

LeovitssDid you ever figure out why your amp wasn't working? I am having the same issue. No sound. I tried connecting it directly to a sound source without a dac and I still have no sound.
