Really simple question here but couldn't find a good answer elsewhere. I'm currently using both sides of the O2: a 6.3 mm in the front for my headphones, and two RCAs in the back, connected to my speakers. However, when my speakers are plugged into the RCAs in the back, they are permanently turned on. I can turn off the O2 or set the volume to zero and it will continue playing music based on my computer's volume. My current solution is to just unplug both speakers every single time I need to sit down and use my headphones, but I'm worried that the wear and tear will eventually build up. Is there a way to set the O2 to keep the speakers plugged in but also control when they are on and off so that I can switch between headphones? Thanks

telvin9No, based on the design, the DAC output connects directly to the amplifier input and the RCA port so there is no way to select only one of them without soldering a switch into the circuit. The best option would probably be to get a 2 way RCA switcher or just continue to unplug them.
