I fully understand that everyone is upset about the additional delay, however I think it is unfair to put this one on Drop when the error happened in production. Drop is making sure that all sets are ultimately as they were displayed on the buy, you can't really blame them for that.

Drop is the vendor that accepted the orders GMK is the producer of the product GMK made a mistake, yet people blame Drop. Sure Drop ain't perfect, I know that myself, but that is no reason to blame them for mistakes that another company made. Just my own opinion.

I don't buy to GMK. I bought the set to Drop. October has been long ago, yet the set is not even in drop warehouse. I blame the company that sold the set and give the information that has proved incorrect. Imho.

Yes, you bought the set from Drop, but when the manufacturer makes a mistake, it's a bit of a stretch to say the vendor is to blame. Drop can only give estimates and updates based on what GMK provides. So yeah you can have an opinion, but you're also wrong :)

It's surprising that only drop has had issues with GMK... The other vendors with dozens of sets running since June had no problems. It's curious at least. Think about it.

Yeah, Mizu is already shipping to people and had a similar delay and expected delivery date.

From the mizu geekhack GB: "Because this is a group by that uses custom colors there is always a chance for delays and that this month is just an estimate" Not the same friend.

The biggest risk of delay GMK Mizu had was from the novelties. I'm not sure what it took to get Git mods, but like Mizu's novelties, git mods are definitely not a standard thing. Even GMK Wavez had issues with the 'c' on the 'Esc' key being misaligned. GMK has not been having a very good Fall/Winter production run.

This is incorrect. Metropolis for example was delayed by almost two months, and that was not run by Drop.

It's not my intention to feed the drama. I'm very patient with the GBs I'm involved with (as a costumer). I like the set so much, and I will have it in the future for sure, not in GB phase cos I cancelled my order due to the delay and I bought metropolis instead. GMK is undoutbtedly one of the serious companies in the sector but I'm not trying to cover their mess up. What I'm trying to explain is that Drop is the only one that sold me the keycaps, not GMK nor Oblotzky. If I have to complain to anyone will be to the one that sold me the set. The problems that Drop has with their providers are not mine are theirs. As always, imho my friends
