Design: 4.5 I like the idea of Oblotzky, especially about making keycaps from some coders' theme, except assembly kit and some other kits don't have traditional legends but only "add sub mul div..." Final design is not perfect to my taste but I respect his idea.
Offered kits: 5 I got some plan to make some vintage-looking keyboard, and there are not many keycap sets which offer minila kits, extension kits are also good, so I decided to buy them to use for my display collection and other plans.
Color: 4 A bit lighter gray modifiers and legends, and a bit darker red keys than I expected, but overall they are pretty close to rendered images. SP did a good job.
(The picture above looks a little yellowish because of late afternoon sunlight, I didn't adjust any color balance or brightness, just reduced and cut its size.)
Quality: 3 I think they are usual SP grade. I got some foggy coating marks on some modifiers, most alphas are very good except my "U" key has a weird orange plastic or paint dust. Not perfect, overall very good, but in consideration of the price, I can give only 3 out of 5.
Conclusion: 4 Before I make the right keyboard for these keycaps, I can't find out how these beautiful things will shine with it. I want to see next versions of these keycaps no matter how long it takes. I am happy to see some great ideas become real.
Thanks to SP did a good job although they need improving their tools and QC, Massdrop also did a good job, I appreciate they made this drop happen, and I want to thank James C. who helped me change my shipping address right before the shipping started.

Beautiful set, I opted for the Hagoromo Alphas and the Oblivion Modifiers. Only critique is that the home keys simply feature a deeper groove to identify which when placed seems to mess with the uniformity. The stabilizer clips don't seem to fit super snugly but that may be more on the clips I got than the mold of the keys as the keycaps themselves are quite snug on my MX Clears. Oh second weird thing there were 2 up keys one featuring a really different key profile. Unsure of whether the low profile or raised profile will work better long term.

BokoA trick for the stabilizer posts - if you stick a little bit of saran wrap or the plastic from the baggies that the keycaps came in on top of the stabilizer post, it will fill in the extra space and make it all snug.

monkeyface920Are you still using the MF108 with the stock PCB? I have one and have been trying to figure out how to swap pcbs or do something to get qmk type programability out of it. That countdown feature just sort of wastes the top nav cluster keys and I work using caps lock as shift+tab in spreadsheets/quickbooks. Would be using it otherwise. Have considered hand wiring to do so since no one out there makes a full size aluminum qmk/via in high profile. Either that or taking a gmmk full size as a donor board if the case would fit it.

Poor Quality (Is this normal thing????)
I am a newbie so I just want to ask you guys with pthotos.
Is this a normal thing? Keycaps showing dents, and scratches.
I am no expert but some keycaps look like it's been grided on the hard surface.
I sorted out keycaps with persmissible qualtity and bad qality. Lef ones are bad showing dents scratches like the sample photos. Right one was just "OK" .
I am so disappointed given the price I paid for this keycaps.

One of my favorite keycaps set, ruined by QC.
- Design 5/5 - Oblivion is one of my favorite deisgns hands down, thanks Oblotzky and sorry for what i'm going to say...
- Signature Plastic 2/5 - while the quality of the legends is very good, the quality of the surface is bad, this is a really expensive set, just like every SP SA set, so the QC should be the main priority. SP SA surface was NEVER perfect, but now is definetely worse. SP ships these in a bag in 2022, while even $20 chinese sets have boxes. Signature Plastic evolution among years was zero apparently. My old keycap sets from them are even better. I'm speechless.
- Drop 1/5 - They shipped the bags in a box. Just that, no protection at all, just a plastic bag filled with $200 keycaps in a box with zero protection, floating and hitting each other in the box. I took a 10% refund for the QC issue (see album below) but the return policy is totally useless for EU contries (i can't return an item when $90+, half the value, is involved in custom fees and shipping). If i paid over $200 for keycaps and i can't return it for clear reasons, i expect the "bad keycaps" to be replaced maybe? Who cares about a 10% refund tbh

Less than thrilled with the final product
Not only do these caps have some SERIOUS stem wobble, but they also arrived out of the box in pretty rough shape. Feels like whoever was responsible for the manufacturing of these clearly didn't care about the end-customer.
The core chunks taken out by removing the caps from their molds is very large compared to other sets I've purchased in the past. All keycap combos just come in a plastic back instead of any kind of layout or packaging. While I'm all for cutting down on needless packaging, at the price point they were sold - it just feels cheap.
Finally, the caps came out of the bag covered with black ink, as seen in multiple pictures attached. At $39 a set I wouldn't have issue but the reality is this was presented as a premium set but the quality of the product feels more like an AliExpress special.

GFargoHad almost the same exact experience minus the ink. Contacted Drop just now to see what I can do about this. Incredibly disappointed for 1. the premium I paid and 2. the quality that I'm used to with Drop. Definitely will make me reconsider when I see something I like on here

Everything is ok except packaging
The keycap quality is ok. Nice color, nice plastic. But I was shocked by the packaging. Imo the keycaps should be packaged in a box instead of a bag lol
