A little sturdy

The POM plate adds some sturdyness to the board. It helps with that little hollow sound and sounds even better with keyboard foam.

POM vs Steel

Originally got the steel plate since that's what I usually use, however considering the lack of a gasket mount and the relatively small size, my Planck did not resonate much sound wise, and was very pingy for lack of a better term. Installing the foam kit definitely helped with this. However, I still prefer the POM plate even though I normally prefer very stiff plates. Again, due to the size/case, the POM plate is sturdy enough, and sounds amazing with keyboard foam.
