IMHO, this is one of the top ten key cap sets made; classy yet fresh. The colours are exceptional; they are interesting, timeless and can be used in a professional setting, without looking like you brought a toy to work. Get a set if you can.
PS. Basic Kit + Nishi is enough to cover 1 full size and one 40~70% board; or a TKL, 60% + numpad.
Great as always, I expect nothing less from GMK. Good color matching to the renders. My only issue is that next time either this is run or on other sets in the future is an R3 1.75U Function key, as that is the key I and many others use for function. Not taking off a star, as I knew what I was buying going in, this is just more of a suggestion for other sets or reruns.
Bought the novelties to pair with the Drop GMK Red Samurai 65% kit. Overall I was satisfied with the keycaps and was impressed by their quality and design. My only complaint is that I wish there was more 1u R4 keycaps.
First I wanna start by stating this is a very premium and a very nice looking keycaps set. It's my first GMK set and I am glad I bought it. The colors are top notch (though tbh the pictures show a much brighter red than they are in reality), they feel very nice for the fingers, and the cherry profile is just chef's kiss.
That being said, GMK seriously needs to reconsider their packaging. I received mine all opened, keycaps taken out of their packaging and the package was pretty in bad shape. I'm guessing local customs decided to open them but the fact they were opened in this way once and the packing was already ruined is just not good, and I think a keycap set hat costs 150 dollars should have better case than this.
All in all, I am happy with the product I am just upset with the bad packaging and the bad delivery service by DHL. You expect when you give a company your address and pay for shipping for the product to be shipped to your home, but instead I had t pick it up myself from the mail service locally here.
Edit: Today I pulled my 1800 keyboard the Keychron Q5 and moved this keycap there. After putting on the numpad keycaps immediately noticed an issue with the number 4 on. It is not aligned with the rest of the keycaps on their and once you see it you can't un-see it and its very infuriating considering this set costs 150 USD.
Although I'm not a fan of GMK's (usual) pricing and didn't dig into the hype all that much, I got these purely because, in my opinion, they're the best looking keycaps out there. It was a pain mixing sets to get Nishi keys + ISO for the UK (wish it had full ISO support) but all in all they look stunning and feel great to type on. Alongside the brass plate in my Q1, I don't think they could look any better. Bought on offer + using a discount code they came out to be very reasonably priced imo.
Also +1 to Drop for getting them sent relatively fast to the UK - and I didn't get hit with any fees so that certainly helps
