Very elegant aesthetic. I was looking for something understated, but with some personality and this was a great choice. Compliments my Blue Samurai GMK's perfectly and looks great.
I got the Seigaiha Red Gradient on sale for $29.
No big surprises here-- the quality is about what you'd expect, pretty nice and I had no trouble getting it to lay flat, didn't even need to weigh it down or anything. The design is exactly as you see it in the picture, print is of high quality and looks great.
Instead of coming in just a box or plastic bag like lots of deskmats do, this one comes in a nice thick cardboard tube that I use to store this when I'm not using it. Very nice touch.
The edges are pretty standard, except that I could see the dye kinda fading on the very edge (see pic). Doesn't bother me too much but I don't see that on my cheaper deskmats. Also, for a more expensive option, it would have been nice to see some stronger reinforcement to prevent fraying. There is a thicker stitch at the edge like lots of deskmats, but it doesn't look like it would take much to have it fray. When this happens for any of my mats, I just use a lighter to get rid of/reinforce the frayed bits individually.
