This is a beautiful set. I hope a relative lack of purchases won't be construed as a lack of interest. I would definitely buy multiple kits from this set if it weren't for the extremely long lead time.

It'd be nice to see these in MT3, and sometime soon: I'd love to pick up a set of these because they're absolutely gorgeous, but I have no idea if I'll feel the same way in 2 years

Ship date has been pushed up to July 15, 2022 PT from May 30, 2023 PT? Is this realistic? Great news if true, but what has changed so drastically to allow this?

Honest question: the point of group buys is to exchange wait time for *saving* a bit of money, right?
These are the most expensive kit prices I think I've ever seen from this site. Given the seriously long run time (I understand why) and apparently lackluster colors and QC of previous (just the first?) runs, I am baffled at how this set is different in any way from all others offered on this site in the same profile and same manufacturer. I constantly poke fun at Drop for their "pay retail to wait a few months" business model, but this one just has me genuinely curious of the value offered.

I regret not getting this set when it ran the first time around, now the prices are way higher and a massive lead time...I still want them tho

IronSunsetscalesHonestly, you didn't miss anything. I'm a big fan of Oblotsky, and I like SA very much. But the first run of these caps was unusually poor quality. Something was off in the plastic mix. The colors were faded, almost transparent. Nothing like what I expect from Signature Plastics.
Maybe they'll fix things for round two, but with Massdrop running the show, I don't have high hopes.

josh_bI didn't get in this time either, the timing to spend a good amount of money this time of the year (and god knows when they'll show up) wasn't worth it at the time. I'd still love to get the set eventually. But yeah I'm aware of the issues the first round have, and not sure if Drop has anything to do with the quality issues that Drop ran GB's tend to have, it might be just that the orders are much larger or something? Smaller GB's tend to have their own issues with quality too, so I think it's more an SP thing in the end. We'll see when some other sets come in I've bought a while ago, and with the added pressure on them. (delays, lack of staff, lack of supplies etc)
