Impressed With the performance of these.
My main Gaming sets before these where the Tyger 300R. After just a few hours i knew that these outclass it for gaming. Many reviewers have gone in detail with the audio Quality so I will simple talk about my experiences. The ability to pick up a Soldier walking through the grass, have an idea about the distance, direction, and that is during a bombing over head in Insurgency Sandstorm without the audio sounding terrible is Great. While A/B testing this and the HD560s during the same game I have notice i tend to be more confuse where some sounds are coming from or worst not hear the same faint directional noise of soldiers. On the 38X those things i clear as day without sounding unnatural. If you are looking for a Gaming set and it can do music on the side as well Put this on your list to check out. Also a pro tip...Apple dongle USB C to jack adapter. This will power your headphone easily and provide you a clean mic input without the need of a splitter. you do not need some 200$ "Gaming" Amp or anything like that. If you feel the need to have a little extra for some reason or your mic is a little too nosing on your MB than the apple dongle for 10$ will completely solve your problem.
