Excellent sound quality, spacious for the ears but they press bit too firm around the ears
-- Excellent sound quality, impressive bass even at very low volumes
-- Smooth volume wheel on top of the right ear
-- Produce full sound with impressive bass and clarity on my Ultrabooks headphone jack, even at 36% (seriously!) volume without equalizer, amp or boost:
----> Reviewers told that the impedance of this model is so much better than earlier models so that a normal headphone jack can drive these well, but I have to say: I am highly impressed!
------> Bonus: The low required output power for driving these headphones also means the tiny built-in headphone jack amps can work in a power range in which they can produce great quality too.
-- Two cables with different length packaged
-- Press very firm around the ears, had to switch to the softer velour earpads (included). But even with them, there but still a bit discomfort. Maybe try to stretch the head clamp spring a bit over time...
-- That the long 2.5m cable only has two split 3-pin 3.5 mm TRS jacks without a included adapter, but no problem the 1.5m cable with the 4-pin 3.5mm jack is long enough for normal use, so not a problem and the split 2 3-pin 3.5mm TRS jacks are needed for older audio equipent and gaming PC use where no 4-pin 3.4mm TRRS plugs are available.
-- Intercontinental shipping with DHL to Europe took ages!
I ordered on Oct 9, and parcel arrived in German Airport on Oct 12 (two weeks ago). It then went to a different DHL center (of "Deutsche Post"/German Postal Service far in the west of Germany) for tariffs checking, where things got really stuck, it took some days there.
A few times, four!!! days went without an update on DHL's tracking page, and the local tracking page even said it does not support the DHL Global Mail tracking number. It was stuck in Germany for days in three different local DHL distribution centers and no updates for days even when it was already in the destination EU country (Austria), final delivery was a lucky surprise delivery without any indication frm DHL tracking before. It was pure didn't need to go to the local postal service office to pay the tariffs and delivery fees (which drop didn't tell about).
In total it took more than a week to get from Germany where it already spent more than a week to the east to Austria and on Oct 27, it was finally delivered. So the parcel was on a two weeks of odyssey in Germany and Austria with DHL with only sparse updates on the DHL tracking page. In addition, I had to pay 35 Euros in cash on delivery for shipping and for tariffs because Drop sent the package "unfree" (paid no shipping/tariffs), Glad it arrived finally ;-)
