Coming from my first ever gaming oriented headset "Arctis Pro", these are miles better even though the PC38X is connected directly into the motherboard without fancy GameDAC and sh**. I guess I was tricked by their marketing...
Now I'm not a audiophile and this is my first time owning an open back headset but these are some reasons why I liked the PC38X:
First, the headset is really light at 253g compared to what I was used to (400g +) and it also doesn't feel like it's going to break just by putting them on;
Mic quality in my opinion better but I can't say for sure since my old pair snapped;
The included cable is braided and it doesn't feel like it's going to break;
The volume dial is located on a place that will not be accidentally rotated by my hoodie.
Oh and I also like the INCLUDED velour ear pads at almost half the price of the Arctis Pro...
Because this is an open back headset I'd say that the sound feels more natural but I can't give you the pro review on that since I can't really judge the sound quality in details.
