Wrong item delivered but responsive customer service
When I ordered this I initially got sent a $35 desk mat instead. However, Drop customer service got back really quickly after I initially reached out and had a replacement sent. I really enjoy the keyboard itself. lights and functionality work great, has a good weight, just pleased with it overall.

(For $99)!?
Note that I’m reviewing this from a pretty different perspective given it was on sale for $149 and I had some rewards as a drop member. I grabbed one for my wife in white (GMK Lime caps to complement), and she absolutely loves it. sure, it is not perfect or going to top your $1000 custom. But. Drop is doing great work providing quality keyboards at until now unthinkable prices, and these really have a lot to like as-is - even better with some basic DIY upgrades (especially if you prefer a different style of switch). Rotary knob is a huge bonus - looks and works great!

Awesome keyboard for beginners and enthusiasts
It's custom enough to please those just getting into keyboards while also being versatile enough to provide opportunities for enthusiasts to customize to their liking.

This is a keyboard that demands and deserves your time and tools
This is a keyboard designed by Drop for the enthusiasts, those who want to spend time playing with the insides, trying new mods, getting new stabs, keys, switches, plates, weights, you name it. So the reviews that say that it's hollow, cheap, and not worth it are completely, utterly, wrong. Period. This is a keyboard that deserves and demands your time and attention. It is a masterclass of machining, design and style. I was able to buy the white version and the color is simply beautiful. The feel of the case is sublime as is the beautiful brass plate, and weight that came along with it. I tried typing on it completely stock; I did absolutely nothing except plug it into my computer and start typing and the experience was fine. It was like the world's finest quintet playing in a concert hall without the acoustic treatments needed to make their music truly captivating. This is done on purpose. I wanted a baseline (which was perfectly fine, but I like to tinker and fuss). FIRST, it is important to note that Drop includes a tape mod in the case should you want it. There is a white sheet that is placed in the bottom of the box that looks initially like a protective sheet...this is your tape mod, and it works wonderfully well. I enhanced it slightly by adding gaffers tape to the bottom, which I have noticed makes for a slightly deeper and more resolute sound profile. Perhaps not the "thock" that some people want, but we'll get there. There are also two thin pieces of foam in the case which do a great job of reducing case ping, but not eradicate it completely until you run through the tape mod. But, I felt I could do more and, well, more I did. I have been playing with different materials as base/case foam. They all have their time and place and are in many of my other keyboards, but the SENSE75 deserved better, it deserved more. I went the silicone route. I purchased a mix from a crafts store, depending on your case you can get various colors. After mixing what I thought was enough I ported it into the bottom of the case, it is important to remember to make sure the case itself is horizontal, used spirit level, and tape off the seems around the weight, no silicone mix came out, but it made for a cleaner mold and better cleanup. Use a few pieces of painters tape along the sides to act as a pull tab when the time comes to remove and finalize the mold. I realized that I did not put in enough of the mixture into the case. Fear not! The silicone bonds to itself. I left the first amount solidify and added an additional layer on top, about 1-2mm in thickness. I had to remind myself not to overfill the case, one could and change the sound profile to a more solid "thack" with no lower end resonance. but I wanted to get the lower registers to pop so I did not fill the case much higher than the weight. If you wanted to of crazy with it, you could fill in enough for the weight area, let it dry and pour a small layer on top. Let that dry and then do a final layer above that. The progressive fill could allow for you to trial different sound, and with a little tape you could always make three separate slices - I didn't do that. Finally, when everything was dry I reassembled the case and wow this is now my favorite keyboard in my stable. The sound is a delight, the keyboard has a lovely heft (especially with the added silicone), and with the addition of caps and keys...yumm! Note: if you are going to go this route, please make sure that your mold enables the silver stanchions on the back of the PCB to touch their designated spaces on the keyboard case. You can always to this later by cutting/drilling out the areas where these 3 or 4 pieces come off the back. I want to add that I made two molds. The first was a simple pour that I mentioned above, the second was a little different. I took some inspiration from vaulted ceilings from medieval Gothic churches and cathedrals and used a few circular tubes cut out and remove specific areas of the mold: top-left, top-right, center, and a small area around the space keys. This slight hollowing out of the silicone created small chambers of lower register resonance and wow.

MidnightTacoThis sounds ultra custom… did you happen to make a video or take inspiration for a source you would share? Thanks for the detailed write up.

SpartoniousI didn't make a video (but I should have). I have the silicon resin and can pour another mold without any issue, then I'll give it away to another SENSE(i)75 fan. I can take some photos of the taping I did, and I will see how the silicon mold does on camera, it might be worth making the video vs. photos.

A decent attempt at best
The board creaks. The gaskets on this thing are so odd, and if there is too much pressure, sometimes other keys will activate when they shouldn't. Everything about this board is great except the gaskets, sounds like walking on a wood creaking floor. If they did without them, I'd say this board is pretty solid.

Fried by a bad usb switch, all my other devices survived...
A usb switch failed and took this out :( It didn't destroy anything else plugged into it though - I think there's very minimal protection circuitry in this thing. As a programmer I think the TKL layout is better, so it's not the worst that it broke, but still disappointing. Knob is pretty nice!

Love the color, keycaps and the knob
I've never had a knob on a keyboard before, and I dig it way more than I thought I would. I'm using the default, which adjusts volume and a press toggles mute. Media online is always mastered so differently, and it's a lot easier than adjusting the speaker volume with the remote. The white color is nice, but the kecaps are a slightly different off white color. Not bad, but it doesn't come through in the pictures well and surprised me. Not sure I love the holy panda switches. I was hoping for a little more of a tactile feel, and I really prefer a light click. I probably would have went for the barebones model if it was ever in stock! I suppose I'm more of a clicky switch enjoyer. My work keyboard uses blues, and the last keyboard I built was a idobao with Kailh Box White switches.

Just what I wanted. A well made and original 75% case
So I've read the many, mostly negative, reviews since this board has been released. Most issues seemed pointless for what I meant to do with it so I took the plunge and ordered this just after Christmas. The Sense75 now comes with more foam, enough that I didn't feel the need to add anything else for soundproofing. Only adding the included but unused sticky pad for the back of the PCB. I ordered different switches, lube and keycaps from Ashkeeb and I got the quality of a 5 year wait groupbuy board with the aesthetic of the Sense75 all within weeks. The switches that came with the board were fine, I've had much worse but they're not Dreaming Girls. The basic non-SA/XDA keycaps and bland knob leave a lot to be desired but I had always planned to switch them out. I now intend to buy an SA set that will complete the board better and match my espressos. Disclaimer: I know that it looks like a mess right now. I was too lazy to make sure the sets I bought would fit well within the Sense75's restrictions so now it looks like some Frankenstein's keyboard. I guess I gotta order more keycaps and this time make sure that it's gonna work.

75% has everything you need
A keyboard with anything below 75% just feels lacking from time to time. Sense75 feels just right and has all the Fkeys listed out. But of course it requires some modding like lubing switches. The whole keyboard is solid. As a normal user, this is a good starting keyboard
