Are the stabilisers screw in or plate mounted?
Does the keyboard include case & plate foam?
What kind of mounting style does it use?
Does the hot swap PCB support up to 5 pins?
Stab is plate mounted and quite rattly for me. Mods needed.
No case nor foam included. You will need to put your own if you want a more muted sound signature.
I'm not sure of the mounting style.
It comes with Holy Pandas X, which are 5 pins.
If you have the USB-C version it should work fine. I've plugged every keyboard I own into mine and never had a problem. The older lighting versions were a little iffy, but even then, most boards still worked.
Does this product come with the teal coiled cable shown in the images? Also, which side is the USB-C port on? It’s shown as being on the top-left and top-right in the pictures.
no. the stabs are probably the most egregious part of the KB. You may be lucky to get a non-rattly one. Just assume that some mods is needed to the stab.
I unboxed this keyboard a few days ago and have been test running it on my MacBook Pro, and it works great. I had to tweak the modifier keys because the command key was mapped to the option key and vice versa. That's the extent of the setup I had to do—pretty easy.
