This set comes with most of the different caps that would fit almost any layout, so in that regard you shouldn't have to worry. The caps only fit on cherry style stems, which look like a cross, most switches use this style as well. So not proprietary, but if you already have a keyboard you want to put them on that information would inform whether they'll work for you.
The custom sublegends dictate that it will need to be dyesub, leaving the other obvious option as MT3 PBT. Possible, but not currently in the roadmap. Is MT3 in line with what you'd be looking for, or something else?
HoffmanMysterI think MT3 is what i was thinking, actually. I personally love the MT3 profile, although i have no data on how well it would do as a release.
TheFloppyTaco@Valgaut I will bring this up with the team! Like I said, it's not currently planned, so would not be an immediate thing to make happen, but the interest shared here certainly does help move the needle. :)
Are there going to be UK-ISO and/or numpad and/or novelty key sets for these keycaps? Would love them, but my keyboard is 100% and would like to only use them for numpad/novelties if UK-ISO is unavailable.
These sets seem to be getting smaller and UK users are getting left out. You need to get creative and have a good memory.
You get an ISO enter key and a small shift but the |\ key that should go next to it is actually R3 to go where the @' key should be.
I can't remember the last time I used the |\ key ( probably in DOS ) but I can usually remember the substitutions for the others.
I suppose Drop know their market, but would it be so bad to include the UK keys? They started doing it for MT3 before they lost interest in that profile.
