So trying to decide canvas or linen micarta? What’s everyone preference and why?
im mainly looking for strength and durability, also resistance to wear like being dropped etc.

massdrop01I would go canvas, I have many canvas micarta handled knives and one linen micarta handled knife and the tighter weave of the linen actually gives it a cheaper feel to me.

massdrop01I would guess that there is no difference in strength between linen and canvas, but rather in the resin that is used to bond it all together, which is probably the same in both cases.
