hal0dude7Matt3o has mentioned on his blog that they're in talks about producing more, but can't squeeze them into the current production run, so the accent kits won't likely reappear for several months. But they are likely to be restocked again eventually.
No Durin's Forge, no deal. Same for the Elvish set.
They should have made the extras add on only, and then if some are left or more are made, make them available as a separate purchase.
This way, the cool extras that sell the sets are gone very early in the drop, in both this and the Elvish set. They may or may not get restocked.
Really disappointing...
Boban85Yes, very sad these were so badly stocked. Hopefully there are more soon. And also hopefully they can do something like free shipping for the second order we'll have to do.
Will the Dwarvish child kits be restocked like the Elvish kits? This is the only thing holding my back from buying a complete set as I'd need the Durin's Forge in addition to the Numpad
Dr.Flinkno, matt3o has confirmed that there will not be an ortho hardcore version, but what you could do is buy a hardcore base set, and an ortho set swap the alphas and put the base set with dual legend alphas up on mechmarket for a slight discount and disclaimer (it'll definitely sell since I doubt most people care about the side legends missing more than what a discounted set would cost) hell you could probably even break even if you sell it at what it cost to preorder, when its full price on drop
Thomas_TillgrenThanks for your suggestion, I will consider it. But I think it's a shame that ortho always gets down prioritized.
I get it, the user base is smaller. But still? I'm from Sweden (maybe so are you, considering your name) and that isn't making it any easier to find fitting sets. I could live with having dwarfish runes replacing thecletters ÅÄÖ :-P.
You could have split alphas from mods so ortho users (who are more likely to use Colemak or Dvorak) can buy the"hardcore" alphas.
Second, when are you going to admit that not using R5, especially on ortho, is a mistake?
I have drop credit, but you just keep on making awful decisions on your offers.
harlekeinMissing R5 makes this a hard pass for me. I bought every MT3 set they've made until they used R4 bottom row and now I don't buy MT3 anymore.
I definitely would have liked to see the hardcore on ortho.

Super excited to launch our new collaboration keycap sets today. This has been a project long in the works with both matt3o and the good people of Middle-earth and we are finally ready to share this goodness with all of you.
Today we launch the MT3 Lord of the Rings Elvish and Dwarvish keycap sets. These come in both Trainer and Hardcore variety, and have a whole lot of novelties and extras available. The trainer will include front printed English to help us newbies properly assign the keys, while Hardcore is for the well seasoned Tengwar and Cirth scholars out there.
BUT. A lot of effort went into getting the details right on this set for both the looks and the accuracy of the language, so not only do these things look awesome, they’re functional as well. And they’re licensed. The trifecta.
You can read a lot more about it over at matt3o’s blog here(https://matt3o.com/the-lore-behind-the-tolkien-keycaps/), including some of the translations for the novelty keys, as well as a lot of the inspiration and story behind the keycaps.
