Hello all! Stoked to finally announce both the Elvish and Dwarvish variants of our new Lord of the Rings keyboards! Building on the success of the MT3 Elvish and Dwarvish keycap sets launched last year, we wanted to create a complete, off-the-shelf LotR keyboard experience that lives up to the reputation and expectation set by the keycap set. I think OSHETART has accomplished just that, contributing artwork for both keyboards here (Two Trees of Valinor for the Elvish variant, Doors of Durin for the Dwarvish). IsamyrAs with most items on our site, they are technically limited stock (and then a series of re-runs if it makes sense to keep stocking). Always a little hard to predict because of this, but I wouldn't be surprised if these in particular stick around for a while. :)

Hello, my friends got me this wonderful keyboard for my birthday and the side prints on it just keep smudging. I was wondering if there's any way to replace individual keycaps? Buying a whole set to replace them would be kind of costly, especially as I don't live in the US and only need the bottom row. I absolutely love this keyboard and want it to look amazing always. Is there going to be a full-size keyboard with a num-pad? I would love to buy one of these LotR keyboards but use the number pad too often during my workday. If so, is there a time frame?

I just purchased this keyboard and I wanted to let anyone thinking of getting this keyboard to know a few things:

The switches are not hot-swappable, but the key caps can be replaced.
The key caps taper off towards your finger and create this sort of "well" where your finger rests inside the key cap. This significantly increases the distance between keys, and makes hitting the edge of a key uncomfortable on your fingers, since you'll mash the "wall" of the key cap.
The actual switches have a dead zone between when the key "clicks" and the key begins to repeat.
For example, if you press the "w" key down just past the tactile "click", it will press the key once but it will not repeat the keypress until you nearly bottom out the key.
This makes it a somewhat frustrating keyboard to use for gaming where WSAD need to be held down, i.e. FPS, camera movement, etc.

Ultimately, I'll be returning this keyboard, which is a shame because it is absolutely and unbelievably beautiful. I love the weight, and during regular typing it's a dream. However, I'm a huge gamer, and having to bottom out the keys just to walk forward is a show stopper. The smaller key surface area also messes up my timing and is very uncomfortable over all. If all you plan to do is type, this keyboard probably works for you. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere for now.

Hi, I use the keyboard connected to a Macbook but was wondering how to increase or decrease the keyboard brightness underneath the keys or make any patterns. Is this possible with a mac ?

yasmindYou can increase the LED brightness with Fn + Up Arrow, and decrease with FN + Down Arrow. Here's the full list of in-built shortcuts for reference. Note that there are no LED patterns and the LEDs are white only (no RGB).

Hi, I got the keyboard and it worked when I plug it in first time. But its' lights turned off suddenly and didn't worked at second time . I am using mac by the way and where is reset button on keyboard ?

fatih92Hi, did you figure this out? I would first try the key combination Fn + Up Arrow to try to get the LEDs back on. (full reference page) Let me know if that helps or if you need any other assistance.

HI, I just wanna say I love this keyboard! I was wondering if you were ever coming out with a matching Number-pad base to match the keyboard? I want to buy the Keycaps for the number pad but i would like a matching green base if possible! Thanks!
