Absolutely Beautiful

I never even knew you can build custom keyboards. This was news to me when my friend told me (a LOTR super fan) about these keycaps. Down the rabbit hole I went of keyboard building, knowing I HAD to have these. Here we are now. Walnut case, pcb, switches, etc later. I am absolutely thrilled. The colors are fantastic. The lettering is crisp. The keys themselves have beautiful contour and what not. idk much about keyboard terminology but as some noob, I'm beyond satisfied.

Amazing Quality

Fitment is incredible. Very tight fitting on the switches, and I doubt that it will ever give me any trouble. As you can see, the color is a little darker that it seems in the photos, but I actually like the less pastel green a little better, although I might have gotten a different color keyboard to go with. I missed out on the last elvish set that was for sale on here, and now I'm kind of glad, I've come to love the MT3 profile, and I wouldn't have been satisfied with the other keycaps and it would have been a novelty keyboard instead of my daily driver. If I had to pick one thing to gripe about, it would probably be the trouble that I had in shipping, which isn't the fault of Drop, but this little puppy took quite the journey across many states before it finally landed at my doorstep. The one thing that really stands out to me with this set is the care put into every detail, even the boxes are amazing, I'll definitely keep them or put them on my bookshelf because they are that nice to look at. I can't ever thank the creator of this set enough for giving me some of the most amazing keycaps that I've had the pleasure to use.

I love these keycaps, but I'm a little dissapointed with the quality of the spacebars

I bought the base set and artisan, and my girlfriend bought me the Autumn in Rivendell and Extras. I am beyond ecstatic about the look, feel, texture, and everything about these keycaps. However, after just 6 days of using them, I noticed that my spacebar (the Autumn in Rivendell one with the ring inscription on it) would come off of the stabilizers quite easily. I took it off, looked on the underside, and found out that the "peg" (for lack of a better word) had cracked all the way to the base of the keycap. I don't type particularly hard at all and my $25 set of HyperX keycaps have held up fine for years. I guess I just got a bad apple out of the bunch. I'm hoping that Drop will be able to replace it for me, but I do recommend these keycaps overall because they are stunning. I hope you have better luck than me if you purchase them!

Do you mean the 6.25U blank spacebar or the 7U one? I had no issues with the 6.25U spacebars in my kits, so I'm wondering if this is a problem only with the 7U mold

Vintage beige and low key green

I was not sure about color, as I see conflict opinion among reviews. I bet that will be cream or grey but how grey? And some appreciates green was darker and others seem to be disappointed at that point. When I received the set, I tried to take photo to correctly represent but it was so tricky. Anyway, that beige is slightly greenish vintage looking beige, like old IBM PC got abandoned 40 years and it got greenish-creamy-grey. I am slightly surprise how they made this color look so vintage all keys evenly. On the other hand, the green color was darker but not Christmas greenish dark. But more like saturated green with proper level of brightness. One more thing I appreciate is that guiding Alphabet in green color works so well in overall design, in much better way, in my view, than dwarf training set. Overall this set goes so well with wood case and wood table. :) yes it is Elvish and no wonder. I am waiting for other part of sets and will update when I receive remaining parts.

Colors are wildly different from pictures

I got these keycaps thinking they were white or a light off-white beige, but when they showed up they were a much darker greyish-beige, and the the green was a much more muted olive green than the bright pastel green shown in the pictures. I like the profile and the legends look nice, the keycaps have a nice texture on the top, but I’m very disappointed in the color.

Great key cap set but does not include a 2u shift keycap. Be sure this set will fit!

I bought this keycap set specifically with this setup in mind. I bought the new Skyloong GK68XS and the resin case which cost a lot! Was so shocked when I couldn't find a shift key cap size 2u in the base kit or elvish extras set! They include every other size shift key cap except 2u which is a massive oversight! So I packed up the key caps and will have to see if the set fits on any of my other 65% keyboards. If drop do make one, it wouldn't be worth the cost for me to ship a key cap to Australia given their expensive shipping rates.

This is the store I bought from. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/5667018/search?SearchText=resin+case This seller was good as I also ordered the skyloong keyboard, resin and wood case from them. They forgot to send the resin case and expressed shipped the resin case to me straight away. They also tested the keyboard before sending and sent photo of it working and photo of the wooden and resin case before sending.

Beautiful keys, but beware of smudging

I love the look and feel of these key caps. They appeared to be well-made, and they were gorgeous when I first put them on the keyboard, as demonstrated in the bottom image. I did buy the "training" set, which included several keys with text along the side of the cap. Now, five months later, these caps have started smudging, as you can see in the images below. This has only been an issue with the print on the sides of the key caps, so I don't believe it would be an issue if you buy the "hardcore" set. Unfortunately, Drop was unable to assist with this issue (which is fair - it has been several months since I first purchased these). I'm incredibly disappointed, especially considering the price of these key caps.

Be me, 20 yr old New Zealander. Love LOTR and its history in my country. My dad and both my uncles have stunt acted for the films. See this keycap set. Omfg yes. Insta-buy, wait for it to arrive. FF to today. Hella excited. I go to put the caps on a board I'm saving for ePBT Acid House & Sweet Girl. Awwww yis. Wait a minute. Check spacious plastic trays twice, 3 times. Theres no ' key. There was no ' key included. I'm pressing a vacant switch right now. There's no way. What a muse. Mfw shipping costed 20 NZD for this. No mf ' key. Goddammit.

CharlesLYes. I'd hope that if I'm paying the price of these caps that I am, the quality checks reflect it. Returning is a massive time waster for me, as shipments from US vendors take just under a month to get here.

Great Keycaps, but would avoid based on Drop's treatment of Matt3o

These keycaps were cleared designed brilliantly, with the profile being incredible to type on. However, drop backstabbed the creator horribly with their MT2 profile, and for that reason I would not recommend these

Side prints are smudging away

Finally a PBT MT3 set, but with a major flaw on manufacturing: Side prints on the keycaps are smudging away. Just try to smudge them with your finger. Just realized this due to other comment, and this is a huge let down for me. Although I will still love the set, this is a big flaw in a $100+ keycap product. I would ask for partial refund but won't bother with it for the time being.
