Does anyone know where "4-pin xlr male balanced to 3-pin xlr male balanced adapter" is available? I'd like to connect the balanced headphone output to Adam A7X active monitors.
This isn't a pre-amp, you will likely do damage to your active monitors if you were to use the adapter you are looking for. This is a headphone amplifier, why do you want to have it going into monitors? You should look for a pre-amp instead of this or if you are looking to convert unbalanced RCA to Balanced XLR you could use something like the "ART CLEANBoxPro 2-channel Balanced / Unbalanced Converter", much cheaper option.
It's perfectly fine to use it as a preamp, Andrew Mason from THX even suggested it in an earlier comment. The XLR4 adaptor means that there isn't a separate ground so it's technically inferior to a regular 2xXLR3 connection, but Andrew also suggested using the rear XLR inputs as outputs wired to the internal XLR output for headphones which also achieves unbalanced->balanced conversion.
