Looking into XLR cables and I see several recommendations, and have seen the Canare L-4E6S recommended a few times. Would something like this work in that case:

2 units and only 1 foot, so there isn't any extra cabling is nice for the DAC/AMP stacking for 25 USD myself seems appealing.
