Hey all... just a friendly warning that apparently they are shipping returned 789’s as ‘new’. I just received mine and there was a hand-written note on the return invoice (RMA) stating that there was a power issue. I emailed support, but have not heard back yet. Be aware that they are selling returns, at least this one, with issues as new.
That's a concern for sure. I'm currently awaiting a replacement unit as the initial despatch was considered "lost" by DHL. Hopefully not a return repurposed.
I am still waiting to hear back from their customer service group and will update this thread with whatever information (if any) I get back from them. I have had a few other encounters with their CS group and it's been pretty easy, so let's see how this goes.
I have heard back from their customer service group and they acknowledged that this was a warehouse error, and that they are not in business of selling used/returned gear as new. I was sent an RMA to send these back to them for a refund.
