Excellent!
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Amplifies the audio signal without adding any coloration. This device objectively measures as audibly transparent with even the most advanced DACs on the market. Sounds great with my Drop Sennheiser 6XX or with my HiFiMan Ananda.

Doug2761I too have the Senn 6XX, but I'm completely ignorant on what connection/cables I need to achieve balanced sound through them. Could you lend me some knowledge of what additional cables or parts still needing to be purchased?

PozzoYou need a balanced cable for the 6xx to the amp. Which would either be 4 pin xlr or 4,4mm. The 4,4mm one would need a adapter to 4 pin xlr because the amp only supports 4 pin xlr as a balanced output for headphones. If you got that you'll need two 3 pin xlr cables to connect the amp to a balanced DAC. Then just connect the DAC via toslink or USB to your audio source as usual and that's it. The hardest part will be finding a balanced cable for the 6xx because they got that rare connector for the drivers and a balanced cable might be expensive. Cable should be looking like that https://www.ebay.de/itm/302725204441

PozzoWhat @Sonarette said will get you the cable. I also bought a balanced cable to see if there's any difference with the amp and to me both cables sound exactly the same. This amp is able to put out plenty of power for the 6XX through the single ended connection. You may get different results.

Doug2761never tried balanced audio and was always wondering if there really was an audible difference between balanced and unbalanced.
