Is 1 kOhm input impedance correct? That's going to put a big load on the DAC. Typical is 25 - 50 kOhms
Interesting catch. Granted 1k ohms (assuming that's not a typo) is still pretty significant. A max voltage swing of a dac will be pushing about 3mA at peak. Still pretty easy for basic op amps.
Relatively speaking that is significantly harder to do though.
