Can user use standard 24V PSU instead of original 30V ? 30V is very unusual voltage for PSU, user, in case of died PSU , may have problems with it's replace.

Evgeniy1No, that won't work at all. Never plug in wrong voltage adapter, under and overvolt can easily damage the electronics in no time.

verifonixAll assumptions, you don't know what the operating range of the components is. It might work perfectly but you could lose some performance/ output power. The right awnser should have been: 30v adapters are widely available, I would not recommend to use a other voltage as we do not know what the operating range of this product is.

VinylAddictNo the correct answer is, don't try it or you could damage the equipment probably voiding the warranty in the process. Assumption or not it's not a good idea to try.

Evgeniy130V PSU is used in THX One to provide +15V/-15V & virtual ground scheme. It is easy to find 30V 500...1000mA PSU on the market.
