I bought the THX AAA ONE and the Sennheiser TRRS 2.5mm headphone cable in the related installation for the HD 6XX. When the shipment arrived at my house, I found out that I couldn't connect a TRRS 2.5mm headphone cable to my THX AAA ONE amplifier. Please let me know if there is a way to connect a Sennheiser TRRS 2.5mm cable to a THX AAA ONE amplifier.

You can use an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Geekria-Apollo-6-35mm-Female-Adapter/dp/B075FNHDNV However, this results in exactly the same electrical connections (i.e. unbalanced) as using the TRS 3.5mm cable and 3.5mm-to-6.35mm adapter that is included with HD6XX.

Why is it going to expose us to lead and or chemicals o.O? Seems dodgy (is it because it's made in China?)

I was wondering the same thing. I just got the HD58X and added the 2.5 balanced cable. I'd love to hear a song recommendation where I can hear the difference. I am listening to TIDAL HiFi and have the Fiiio BTR5 DAC/AMP with the 2.5 balanced jack. So far I haven't been able to tell the difference.

What cable or splitter would I need to get for the HD 6XX in order to utilize the 2 separate Left and Right balanced output jacks of my Scarlett 2i2? The balanced cable recommended here seems to only have a single jack plug, and Google isn't being very friendly.

The Left-Right balanced outputs on audio interfaces is for speakers called studio monitors. They're not for headphones even though they use the same size plug.

Hello. Am I able to use this on my HD600? I want to use the balanced out on my ES100 Bluetooth amplifier
Yes, HD650/600/6XX and others use the Senn 2-pin. I use mine with a HD650 and an ES100.
