What is the composition of the conductors? The only important specification for any kind of cable is the composition of the conductors. It is weird that this is not part of the information on this offer.

BiffsBizFor soldering, usually everyone using lead. But there is basically zero danger, unless u peel off the rubber and eat the cables.

OdassynI've never heard of lead solder used in audiophile cables, Odassyn. Silver solder is typical. But the real question is what is the composition of the conductors in this "audiophile" cable. Not specifying that most critical component is malfeasance in "audiophile" gear.

BiffsBizI highly doubt this cable is silver soldered.

BiffsBizIt's a $50 from Drop. That means it cost them about $6 each to have made in a factory in China. What do you expect for that kind of money? Just be glad that it actually has solder of any type...usually they use bubblegum to hold things together.
