Designed just like our popular AAA Aluminum Flashlight, the slightly larger Vega features more modes, significantly higher output, and compatibility with rechargeable 14500 and AA batteries. Made from lightweight aluminum with excellent heat dissipation, it’s available in four different colors to match your EDC. Measuring just 3.6 inches long, the Vega pumps out up to 650 lumens and casts a beam as far as 417 feet (it’s named after one of the brightest stars in the night sky, after all). The titanium button switch allows you to cycle from low mode all the way to turbo mode with just a few clicks—and if you click it six times in succession you can access strobe mode for emergencies and signaling. At checkout, you’ll have your choice between a cool white and natural white CREE XP-L HD LED.
At checkout, you’ll have your choice of a cool white (70 CRI) or natural white (80 CRI) LED, as well as your choice of color from black, blue, OD green, and silver. The black and OD green versions come with a black clip; the blue and silver versions come with a silver clip.
Additional Features
The Vega’s aluminum body features knurling for grip in slippery conditions. And if you do happen to drop it in the water, not to worry: it’s IP68 waterproof and 1.5-meter impact resistant. Attach it to your belt or pocket, reverse the clip and put it on the bill of a cap, or remove the clip altogether and slide the light into a pocket. The Vega comes with two tailcaps: one with a clicky titanium button and the other with a flat, magnetic surface you can attach to the hood of your car or the roof of your garage. No matter which one you use, the torch stands on its tail to shed low light in a whole room. Though the primary way to change modes is with the tailcap, you can do so by twisting the body of the light, too.
