MonstieurIf you're talking about the additional boom mic you can get with the Panda it is a 3.5mm audio jack connection which bypasses the internal amps and uses the planar ribbons (raw) so to say. With the USB-C connection you will end up using the internal microphones's and amp within the Panda. And with both plugged in I don't know which connection would override which but I believe you end up using the internal amp and the microphone within the boom-mic, but there is a long-term issue with that use, which you can read slightly below in the discussions from a post by me.

JNROPSI want to know if the internal microphones actually work over USB. Do the headphones expose both a recording and playback device to the PC? Someone reported that USB was playback only and recording was not supported. If so it means the only way to get simultaneous stereo playback with recording without it switching to mono is to use an aptX LL transceiver like the Creative BT-W2. Even then it's unknown whether the microphone will work as I have other aptX LL headphones which do not support recording on the BT-W2. So far I've only seen it work with Creative's own headphones which actually use FastStream (instead of aptX LL) for playback when the microphone is in use, even though Creative's documentation says only aptX LL is required.

MonstieurThat's a good question, I'm not sure, I haven't heard anything regarding that matter, hopefully someone from DROP can answer this.

MonstieurWill replied to a similar comment and no, you can't use the built-in microphones wired. Sorry, tried to find the link for about 40 minutes and gave up.

SnadTheEggUnfortunate. Plugging in the microphone is a pain point on my Mobius and this has the same problem as it requires an external microphone cable. And the Mobius is still fully digital and powered by the USB cable for playback and recording.
