All the opinions I’ve read from actual reviewers (metal571, crinacle, a few others) have said that they units they heard sounded pretty awful. Has the tuning been updated recently to improve how they sound?
Couldn't find metal571's review of the Pandas. Can you point me in the direction?
Crinacle wasn't a fan of the PM3s, so not surprised about his point of view, but "pretty awful" isn't how I would put it...
Also haven't seen anything from metal571. Crinnacles review was not shining, but it was not my impression that he thought they sounded awful either, just not tuned to his liking. Not sure if Eustace meant for his post to be productive or an attack on the product. Since it's claiming negative information from non-existent reviews, I can't tell which it is.
I have only heard overwhelmingly positive opinions of the early units myself, that's the thing with a product though is that you will never please everyone, there will always be some that don't like something , even if for the majority it's the best thing since sliced bread.
? Almost everyone with one of the beta units gave a great review. LinusTechTips, Zreviews, DMS, Joshua Valour off the top of my head all said great things. The consistent complaints were that the band might not have enough extension for larger heads, and that the padding at the top of the band was inadequate - both things which drop has addressed for production units.
Add badseedtech to the list as well. I'd love to know who the few other reviewers OP is talking about are. Hell even crinacle didn't completely hate them. They just weren't his cup of tea.
I don't even see a review by metal571
