Thanks for your continued interest in Panda, here’s the latest information:
- For all orders with an original ship date in July, about half of the units have shipped. We expect to fulfill all original ship July orders by the end of October.
- For all orders with an original ship date in August, fulfillment will start in November and should be completed by the end of November.
- For all orders with an original ship date in September, fulfillment will be completed by end of November.
- For all orders with an original ship date in November, fulfillment is on track.
for orders that had a ship date of july, should we have received our backerkit survey yet? I didnt see any update on the offfical weekly updates about the timing of that. My orrder is in July w/ the boom mic
I have also not received a survey yet.
Like we have not heard this time and time again. Last week of October rolls around and we are magically delayed by another 2 weeks because the sun shined or the rain was wet. That if we just don’t get a returned pair with a hissing left cup or one which the headband just breaks off if we even look at it suspiciously.
We will only be good when we get a working pair of Panda’s and you guys do something to make us whole for this debacle.
Just a question of understanding. Even if I'm in the July shipment limbo, how is it logical to have September orders completed by mid November and August orders by the end of November if you operate on a first in first out basis?
Can I understand from this that all July orders should have received an email by now to confirm their address? I would be one of the international orders, and I haven't received an email to confirm my address.
You should only receive a backerkit survey to confirm your data if you ordered via IndieGoGo. If you ordered through Drop directly, they have your data already, no need for an e-mail.
Because this is Drop, logic and customer service are nonexistent.
Sounds like you should get a refund and buy when they're in stock if Panda is the best product for you at that time.
Yea apologies for the confusion, there are very few orders in those last couple groups, so when units arrive to fulfill August orders, we'll be able to fulfill most of the rest.
We're still shipping first in first out.
Actually what it sounds like is that you should deliver what I bought back in February and stop lying to us every other week.
After you have stalled and made us wait as long as you have, your solution is for me and others like me to get back to the end of the line and wait another year or so?!?
Get real. Go do some actual work and get a working pair delivered this time. Lastly, instead of offering refunds, you should be apologizing for all the lies and nonsense.
How exactly are you making us whole for this debacle?
Alright, I've been seeing your extremely negative posts all over the updates and I gotta say it's unproductive and making you look like a petulant child. We're all in the same boat here. I've been eagerly awaiting my pandas just as long as you and yes I am frustrated by the long wait times but geeze dude can you just chill when it comes to the screeching. Will has been extremely open about the issues, he's apologized a million times, and when you and your unbridled autism let loose every week, he still takes the time to make posts and specifically reply to YOU. If I were him, I'd absolutely have cancelled your order and refunded you myself. So can you just chill for a bit. Either take the refund and shutup, or sit and wait like the rest of us. There's no productive reason for the incessant complaining we've all been seeing from you. It's not like nobody is getting the headphones. They're shipping out, they're doing extra qc, and the reviews are great. Just lay off em a bit dude. I'm sure Will and the entire company is acutely aware of how frustrating this has been for us all and you'd be hard pressed to find a company that has been as communicative as they have been up to this point. Your negativity isn't going to get you the Pandas any sooner and it just makes you look like a twat.
There have been some issues raised about the boom mic on Indiegogo. In particular, the sound of the headset coming through the mic. Is this meant to be normal?
Nah, not normal. We haven't experienced that in our testing, team's looking into those posts but we have not received any direct reports.

It seems they overpromised on the app and there won't be any. I hope I am wrong!
Will wrote "Companion app will be released sometime this quarter, features are firmware updater (means to do an update, we have no planned firmware update this year) and 16+ Band EQ." in a reply to my question about it yesterday.
That's a great news and I am glad to be wrong on this occasion :)
I hope those discomfort headband, hissing in one earcup and other quality control issues are address in this year batch
Hopefully it's truly just a vocal 0.1% that are having problems. As an intl buyer, I fear these are gonna brick or something after 1 year.
Is Drop not fulfilling October orders until January?
Any news on when IGG buyers will receive their Drop reward points, and be able to post reviews?
@iWasimAbbas if you go to the discussions section and either search @Will or scroll down to January 12th you’ll see where he made the announcement (after answering my questions), to all #DropPandaTHX owners / investors that the “mythical” and “so called” app is “supposed” to be released by the end of January. So we shall see what the next 9 days will bring. Also, I have a couple of friends that are YouTube tech reviewers and he has made contact with them telling them to prepare for the upcoming app release.
really hope it happens even if they are a tad later than expected, want it for ONLY one thing . . To add just a touch of base and if it’s made available, transparency. That’s it. LOVE THESE HEADPHONES 🎧
