After such a long wait, during which I found a new appreciation for IEMs, decided these are not for me. Even though I wanted to like them and make them my own, I'll be putting them up for sale, only used for 2 hours max.
How much are you selling for?
Not saying you shouldn't sell what you don't like, but my Pair changed quite significantly somewhere around 20h of high volume listening in. It maayy be worth it to let them run for a while and try again, although I of course don't know if that applies to every unit
Appreciate your comment, which may be true to a certain degree and situations. My decisions mainly based on the discomfort from the weight (hot-spot up-top) and the compressed, flat tone which I'm fairly certain many hours of burn-in cant remedy.
The forward tuning does make them sound detailed though in an unnatural way IMO, but the lower end is compromised.
THX does provide a silent background and for those who don't have a bunch of other phones or gear to drive them, it may indeed be a good solution.
Did you put stickers on them?
Yea, their vinyl so peel right off.
