Hey there gang. . . So I have an update from @Will that he really should have been said to all of us here and did not. It would have been a lot more helpful than the blurb he threw at all of us in his recent app update. As you can tell, I’m a bit of a “make people accountable for their words” type of person. Drop is getting ready to make an announcement tomorrow about a new project they are launching. @Will has been all over the announcement page playing 50 questions guessing games with everyone about what the announcement is, so I popped in and let him know we have some questions over here and just maybe he should pop in for two minutes and help to ease some customers heartache and answer a couple of questions. Also that just maybe... they should try to FULLY finishing one project before launching another. Here is the direct quote of what he had to say ...
”My Boomer friend, these projects are unrelated, don't use the same resources, etc. Panda updates are coming, but Asia is at home for CNY (Chinese New Year), so the Panda team is off for the week”.
Now we know why things did not go as planned for this week. I will give @Will the benefit of the doubt that he had not been thinking about CNY when he last updated us regarding the hopes of the 🐼 project being available around the 15th. I just wish he had said this in his recent update instead of the quick quip he did which amounted to “ it’s not ready so.. just deal with it”. Hope this helps a little, hopefully next week will be the week. 🤞
This sort of “sorry, I’m not sorry” reply you spoke of is a sure fire way to kill customer loyalty.
I could not agree more. Here we all are . . Waiting to see if the firmware updates/changes will help to resolve everyone’s issues so they can enjoy their 🐼🐼’s again and if maybe the new app will have transparency amongst other things and yet . . . having transparency from @Will is all everyone wants right now.

Mid-March Version: Panda updates are coming, but Asia is at home for Lantern Festival, Easter (In China) as well as the Women's Day so the Panda team is off for the week(s)
Or another update from @Will like what we got today except actually worded the way it’s meant ...
“Still chasing down the last few bugs on the app, looking at a release toward(s) the end of the month so suck it up and deal with it.”
All he had to do was say in his update what he said to me in another discussion area. I mean as frustrated as I am with @Will and what seems like a real uncaring concern towards his customers/investors concerns ... I love my 🐼🐼‘s.
I am a beta tester for 3 major tech companies and I’m currently testing one of their newest best Bluetooth headphone to come out yet and no matter how much I play with them, EQ them to what I think is a nice clear, open and bright soundstage with a bit more bass than the Pandas have ..... I put them down and put the #DropPandaTHX headphones on and they aren’t even in the same league. The 🐼🐼‘s blow them away. I just wish for those that aren’t as lucky as I am to have a working pair that things would finally get done so they can enjoy their cans like I am, that we all have better CS and more transparency from @Will.
I just don’t understand what the big secret was about saying the Panda Team was enjoying family time at home for their CNY instead of his, a tad insulting quip.

i don't think it's a secret or anything, probably just tired of being hounded about it, though that is admittedly kinda his fault.
Wow, @Will is a major piece of work, why would Chinese new year have anything to do with a San Francisco based company? "Just stfu and suck it up" what an asshole.
Also, Sonarworks the company that makes SoundId is Latvian based. I'm not sure why app development would be paused by a holiday that happens every year making it a little hard to be surprised by. Especially when you realize the only people taking off for the holiday are not in the country where the work would be being done.
