We are excited to re-launch the Drop + Eric Ochs Lynx. As requested by the community, we have provided new imagery for the Green and Slate G-10 versions, providing a more realistic idea of the scale and hardware colors.

Somewhat, it's courier dependent right now, and unfortunately our courier for knives is not yet operating. We're still in a holding pattern here.

Does anyone else with the carbon fiber scales get splinters from the raised edges flaking off if you run your fingers along the handle?

I don't know how many people ordered the carbon fiber scales, but that seems like a glaring oversight considering how much the upgrade cost. I love this knife, but I'm terrified to have it slip in my hand because those splinters are not pleasant.

Is there any way Drop can notify us every time the ship date gets pushed back?

Yeah I get that. I guess my point is that seems like something that would be anticipated, and if that's where they're shipping from, they'd wait to launch something listed as in stock until such a closure event has passed. Cut/paste from the subject line of the notification email on 1/17: Now in stock: Our Eric Ochs Lynx Knife is a compact cutting force... Or just say 'shipping starting 1/31' to manage some expectations; this sort of customer frustration is completely avoidable. Totally first world problems, patience is a virtue, etc... I guess I'm just still sore from the last purchase (a Gent folder) here that was listed in stock and it took more than 6 weeks to reach me by PostNL from China, when I thought it would be a few days shipping from New Jersey.

Contact customer service. I think they can issue the $20 refund after you purchase

Feel like I got gypped. The blade seems so much smaller IRL than in these photos.

Photos can be misleading. That's why Drop includes dimensions at the bottom of the overview for this knife

One of the reasons I bought this knife was because it has a sub 3" blade which keeps it under most legal length limits. At the same time though, I have fairly large hands, so finding a knife that I can get a full 4 fingered grip on is a challenge, so this knife with this blade length and a finger choil is perfect for me. As far as gypped not sure what size would have to do with that. It doesn't cost much more to make a knife a 3.4" blade vs a 2.98" blade etc. Most of the cost is going to be designing, manufacturing, etc. the knife, not a half inch more of materials.

Wow! This became available for immediate shipping very quickly. Awesome. Just brought the blue slate G10 model. the duller bronze ano is a bit annoying. The first lot of photos made it look so vivid.

Very nice Formerly Mass Drop , looks promising. Only question I have is one I've had before , but how is this a hollow sabre grind ? I've seen hollow/flat or sabre if you will, but usually in a compound grind , this doesn't appear to be compound. Still congrats on another seemingly well intentioned and executed collaboration build.
