jjirish81Yes, John and I both work at Drop. Sorry for the delay on your order, the reason it hasn't shipped yet is because our warehouse in China has been closed due to Chinese New Year. The coronavirus is posing an additional complication, but we're still hoping orders will start shipping on the 31st, there is a chance that gets pushed out if additional lockdowns are ordered.

LukasMI read that but it stated in the note that it was for orders placed after 1/21, my order was on 1/17. Didn't that make the "deadline" ?
jjirish81You're right it should have, I looked into this and it was an error in our manual dispatch process that caused it to not make it out. It looks like you've already been in contact with our CS team as well, apologies again.

LukasMAhhhhhh, I was informed that my order would be shipped on 1/19, the 1/24 then 1/31 and finally on 2/2 buy John from "customer service" now its February 10 and I can't seem to get a response from anyone at drop. Can I get any answers from you guys?

jjirish81I’ve contacted drop support and got an answer within 24 hours. I contacted them last week requesting to cancel my order and they informed I couldn’t. Yet today I received an email from them saying my order was delayed again and I could contact them to cancel any order. Bit frustrating being told two different things.
jjirish81Sorry for the shifting date, but we expected the warehouse to be reopened, unfortunately that has not been the case as the coronavirus hasn't died down. If you'd like to cancel your order our CS team can help you out.
jallen89We expected the warehouse to reopen, when it did not and we weren't able to get a confirmed date that it will reopen, we decided to open up these orders for cancellations as well as stopped taking orders until this is resolved. Thanks for understanding.

LukasMI’ve received several emails that say to contact customer service to cancel as the knife has been delayed again but two times I’ve contacted CS you won’t. It’s extremely frustrating that you are sending out emails and your above comment offering to cancel the orders but you actually won’t.

jjirish81Somewhat, it's courier dependent right now, and unfortunately our courier for knives is not yet operating. We're still in a holding pattern here.

LukasMHello, I have a question. My package has been through isc ny and now says inbound into customs. Is this normal? I've heard some horror stories about ny customs plus I read that theres a customs fee???
