is it possible to erect the two person outer but use the one person inner ? (If i owned both the one person and two person versions)

davidp66Sorta. You'd have to extend the cords of the 1P inner so they could reach to the corners of the 2P fly. And then extend the peak connections of the inner to reach the 2P peaks that are spaced about 20" further apart. That would be a bit clumsy because you'd have to extend the webbing somehow. Ideal would be to sew an extra 10" or so of webbing on each inner peak so they can extend long enough. If you did all that, then it would fit inside but wouldn't sit quite right because the angle of the ridgeline is different on the 1P and 2P (about 17 degrees vs 21 degrees rotated) so the 1P inner would end up a bit twisted that reduces headroom.
